About
I’m Oksana, a botanical watercolour artist based in London.
I create detailed botanical illustrations alongside contemporary compositions where flowers, leaves and branches come together to form recognisable silhouettes.
My work is rooted in close observation of plants and a detailed, realistic approach to watercolour.
I work mainly in watercolour on paper, building colour gradually with transparent layers and paying close attention to form, texture and natural detail. Flowers and plants are at the centre of my practice, and I’m particularly interested in the small variations that make each subject unique.
Alongside traditional botanical illustrations, I am developing a more contemporary direction through my Botanical Silhouettes series. In these works, flowers, leaves and branches come together to create recognisable forms while retaining their individual botanical detail.
I create original paintings in my London studio, with selected works available to purchase. I also welcome enquiries about commissions and exhibition opportunities.
